Nissan’s first ever fully electric vehicle, ARIYA, was launched in 2022. The ARIYA global virtual experience site was created 2 years prior the launch in order to gain attractions, showcasing its new smart features and functions. And most importantly, for consumers to register interest.

The experience site was created based on 3 key design pillars: Timeless Japanese Futurism, Being Alive and Human. With these in mind, everything from the virtual 3D world, UI and UI motion system were designed directly from sampling ARIAY’s physical car properties. This includes exterior, interior design, material, colour and lights.
A full suite of UI design system and motion system were created and guidelined for developer handover.

The team worked very closely with Nissan’s global experience design and product team on delivering all requirements, as well as collaborating closely with dev team and production house. This incredible piece of work was created and successfully launched globally during COVID.
